nah.. the pragmatic in me also says that to have someone to love
and to love you right back is worth all the heartache suffered
before you find that person..
like a mathematician said about religion... if you bet something
finite (living your life as a good person) where the rewards are
infinite (heavenly afterlife) it's worth the bet..
just like love.. which is a reward beyond value 
that's a gamble worth taking
